Coding from Class Sixth
In this article I’m going to be talking about the new education policy reforms that recently are introduced in India. Ministry of education of India has introduced National education policy 2020 also known as NEP. Now usually i don't mention these policy changes because that's not my forte. We have another member who discuss all about the policy changes but since i used to be among one among the person who openly criticized the education system of India.
Actually i went all the high onto the tedx stage and openly criticized and said openly that your 75 attendance policy is garbage and that's not doing anything creative to the engineers and actually entire education system. So i assumed i should share some more points thereon so we're gonna just sit here and we're gonna mention what are the good things bad things and what are my opinions on everything that's happening on this new education about-face. First answering the large question am i happy with these changes now i do not know i cannot say honestly that is it gonna work or not because implementation matters tons and the way things are going to be treated by the audience is a completely different thing.
But as of now i'm all happy because i'm all about change definitely the previous things weren't understanding even slightly and now things are changed. So there's a hope that things might enter the higher direction. So i'm all in with these policies and just in case you do not know these policies are heavily heavily inspired by the canadian system and the canadian system has well proven that once you apply these kinds of system it works really rather well with the education system. The enjoyment of the training and a whole lot of things so yeah just in case you don't know that it's heavily inspired by canadian system. Which is sweet hundred percent good coming on to the purpose where i might like to share a touch of my experience.
Now if this technique of opting out the subject was earlier in my days i would be super happy now surely my love towards physics and maths is far higher but not that much for chemistry. I might have opted out for history in my school time and just in case you do not know. I even have an enormous love of history just for the sake of history i went all the thanks to germany and poland to see out for world war. I went all the thanks to Istanbul to check out haji sofia baklava is another thing but yes i do have my fascination towards history but equally for math also as physics. So yes people do exist with strange choice of subject so this is often a good thing and that i would openly welcome that on the opposite side this is sort of a double-edged sword a lot of individuals are getting to be opting in for the better subject. Because probably they consume the same credit and that they can earn the same credit and afterward they go to regret that.
I wish we could have skilled more tough subject and surely it is a double-edged sword but at least as long as people are enjoying the training process that is the foremost important thing next up in college. I already mentioned that within the near upcoming future there are getting to be lot of dropouts if you haven't watched that talk. I openly said therein that within the near future since you are loading down the quality of engineering education there are getting to be tons of dropouts and this education policy is not getting to be stopping that.
It is a fact now that folks are trying to find the value within the education and not just the degree. So this is often a good thing that now you'll cop out from degree whenever you would like and still you'll have something to point out up and this is often getting to be great point personally talking. In case you do not know i didn't finished my phd because i got a many offers from mncs tons of company’s business was thriving and an entire lot of thing happened but i didn't finish my PhD. If i visited if i would like to travel ahead and roll in the hay again. I have to start out it from the day one again but with the new credit scheme. If i just opt certain PhD again i do not have to roll in the hay in one go. If i leave it out for one year or something i do not need to start from the day one.
I can start from where i left it so that's an excellent thing people who love education and like to pursue these degrees are going to be opting back into pursuing that degrees. But tons of individuals who will find values in between these professional degrees are getting to be opting out still. So expect that and therefore the last point which i would like to debate briefly here. Which is my favorite point the coding is now getting to start at standard sixth is it too early to urge started with programming maybe maybe not only the time will tell. But as long as you your kids are becoming enough of the time to play outside for basketball and football. Then they get a while to opt for coding that's where i'm beat. Because coding is something that you simply can learn any point of your time but those time of playing basketball having fun with friends isn't gonna come back.
So please don't steal the childhood instead if this somebody is enjoying that programming stuff then only allow him to opt certain programming but on the opposite side We've something interesting happening in here. Now it's gonna be far more tough for people to seek out the roles because. If somebody walks in and says that hey i have done this engineering degree and give me employment. People know that you simply have just studied c and c plus plus barely you only skills to barely print a pattern and that is just about it and you've got no practical experience in the domain of program on the opposite hand. These kids also are going to be walking in into the corporate saying I even have been writing code from six standard i've built this i built that i built that and then that's where finding the work is going to be a troublesome thing.
So it's all up to you it's getting to be a market where only the people that know the size are going to be thriving the people that are just walking around with the degrees a bit like always they're getting to be struggling. so 2020 what a time to be alive things are changing rapidly. I never thought that this education reform goes to return up but hey it's 2020. It’s delivering all unexpected now okay aren't getting an excessive amount of panic on the thereon button here for the six standard coding. The coding that these kids are gonna be learning isn't gonna be high end aws angular apps and stuff like that. They will be getting started with basics html css which nowadays to be honest. I don't even consider that as a prerequisite as somebody knows is into engineering or college and doesn't know html.
I would say why are you even here this is not a time to spend and on these youtube videos rather at least finish your html. But these kids are getting to be learning the html basics of css and sql queries and that is getting to give them a good advantage. A number of them obviously are getting to be having high IQ and will be moving on to react angular node java and more advanced stuff. So that's going to be a welcome change a minimum of from my side but with this i might wish to end this video on a note that don't expect everything to be positive in this case.
Everything whenever you create a change it's always a double edged sword so tons of things are gonna happen good. At least as a foreseen future we are seeing that but tons of things are gonna happen on the opposite side also. I do not know what that other side is but it's surely getting to be there so with this i might say it's a welcome change i'm beat for that and i'll see that what more i can contribute therein change. Because remember there are tons of individuals who are here just to consume and just to require advantage of what is available there. But there are some people that got to be standing abreast of the opposite side of the table to provide. What the simplest they will provide and i am all on the provide side.
So i would attempt to search for my best that what more i can serve to the audience to the community so that everybody can take more advantage of that.
